Celebrating its 45th anniversary, we can safely say the Nike Cortez is having a bit of a moment. As well as being spotted on the feet of Kendrick Lamar and Bella Hadid, the iconic runner has also been given a fully modern makeover. Now, in further homage of the landmark, Round Two co-owner and sneaker savant Sean Wotherspoon has opened the doors on a Cortez pop-up store in Los Angeles.

As you can see in our exclusive clip above, the space hosts many pairs of the Cortez, both old and new. Wotherspoon, like the proverbial kid in a candy store, explains what makes the model so special to him while providing a look at rare customs from as far back as the ’80s (we really dig the pair with the Garfield laces).
