Jordan Brand saw in Chinese New Year with a brand new Air Jordan 12, honoring the Year of the Pig with pigskin leather overlays and super luxe detailing. And with the kicks not fully selling out in all sizes, early iterations of the high tops have now surfaced for less than their $250 retail price tag at StockX.
Coming in a premium satin construction, the new AJ12 further celebrates Chinese New Year with a quilt-like multicolored lining that also translates on the Jumpman logo and Chinese characters of the left shoe's tongue. Coming in a dual black and white colorway that mimicks Jordan's "Playoffs" color scheme (last seen on 2016's coveted "Wings" pair), metallic gold accents add to the luxurious finish of the kicks.
The kicks are undoubtedly one of the major highlights from this year's CNY-specific releases also coming from Nike and adidas. As it stands, the lowest resell asks at StockX come in at $14 under retail, making it a more wallet-friendly option than official raffles.
