Key Looks: Skepta, whose style has been unwaveringly on point this season, can be seen flexing a zip-up utility jacket and keychain necklace in slide #2. Another strong look here is the Nike x Matthew Williams collab as worn by Siobahn Bell (slide #4) and if you missed the show you can check her coverage on our Instagram.
Founder and buyer of Machine-A (one of the first London retailers to stock 1017 ALYX 9SM), Stavros Karelis, donned a monochrome short-sleeve shirt and black chest rig in slide #16 for a smart-street hybrid style. Lastly, let’s acknowledge Kanye West looking healthy and carefree in slide #10, the real key look for SS19.
Editor’s Notes: Along with Virgl Abloh’s Louis Vuitton show and Kim Jones’ debut for Dior, Matthew Williams’ first runway show for 1017 ALYX 9SM was the final event in a trinity of hugely significant shows this season. As expected, attendees flocked to the industrial runway space in a variety of the brand’s trademark styles: rollercoaster belt buckles, metallic accessories, utility chest rigs and a new pattern for SS19, python-print.
