The ASICS GEL-SAGA is a running shoe that first hit the streets in 1990. Its name was inspired by the Norse goddess Saga, who is the goddess of poetry and history. Now, 28 years on, ASICS unveils a brand new GEL-SAGA pack, comprising three distinct colorways: black, maroon, and white.
Since its inception nearly 30 years ago, the GEL-SAGA has remained a classic silhouette worn both by runners and sneakerheads. The model has also been the subject of several limited-edition collaborations over the years, including projects with Footpatrol and Ronnie Fieg.
The ASICS GEL-SAGA pack features a number of modern updates, such as an upper constructed using a mixture of Japanese premium synthetic microfiber suede and lightweight unlined open mesh, as well as reflective detailing on the heel. All three colorways will be available in October and retail for €120 (approximately $138). Take a closer look at each of the sneakers below.
