UPDATE 6/13/2018 5:40pm ET:Pitchfork reports that Tidal has an updated list of credited lyricists on Kanye West’s album ye, confirming the rumored appearances from Drake, Mike Dean, Ayub Ogada, and James Mbarack Achieng.

Amidst all the beef that’s been brewing between Drake and Pusha-T, another layer of drama has been added to the stack. SPIN previously reported all of the official credits for Kanye West’s ye album, but apparently there was a big name left off the list. Hot 97 host Pete Rosenberg claims that Drake is responsible for writing the hook on “Yikes,” the standout track on the record. (Listen in at the seven minute mark).

“It is now a confirmed thing that Drake wrote the hook for ‘Yikes,” he said. “It may be the best melody on the album when you go listen to it. You’ll hear it now and go, ‘Oh, that does sound really good’… They didn’t credit [Drake]. They said they, like, ‘forgot.’ They left him off! He doesn’t have a writing credit. Interesting timing, right?”

Drake isn’t the only artist that was allegedly omitted from the credits though. There are many artists featured on the album, but most of their names aren’t included on the official tracklist. Nicki Minaj, Kid Cudi, Jeremih, John Legend, Ty Dolla $ign, 070 Shake, Francis and the Lights, Valee, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Charlie Wilson, and Slick Rick all made the final cut.

In related news, J Prince has temporarily halted the ongoing feud between Drake and Pusha-T. Get the scoop here.
