Sneakerheads are bombarded with news of upcoming releases on a daily basis. To save you some time from searching each and every site and leak account, we've taken it upon ourselves to sift through the onslaught and bring you a few noteworthy kicks that have captured our attention.

Earlier this week, BAPE revealed its latest collaboration after recently joining forces with The Weeknd and XO. Much like Abel, YSL rapper Gunna has received his own BAPE STA, which is slated to release today.

In other sneaker news, Kanye West and adidas are focusing on high-top YEEZYs for the remainder of winter, while Virgil Abloh and Louis Vuitton are releasing an iridescent Keepall-inspired colorway of the LV 408 Trainer. Additionally, Runners — and fans of Nike's outlandish Alphafly NEXT% — can look forward to a new bright colorway dropping soon.

Read on to get the latest info about Gunna's BAPE STA and more.

Gunna x BAPE STA

Release Date: February 6

Where to Buy: US.BAPE.COM, BAPE.COM, A BATHING APE stores, and ZOZOTOWN

Editor’s Notes: A BATHING APE is following its recent collaboration with The Weeknd and XO by releasing a joint project alongside Gunna. Leading the capsule is the rapper's very own BAPE STA, crafted from an embossed patent leather. The textured upper of the BAPE STA is complemented by the customary star logo on the side and YSL's "SLATT" slogan (Slime Love All the Time) on the heels. Co-branding then appears on the tongue, as BAPE-branded dubraes come with the pair. Gunna's BAPE STA will release with a matching T-shirt.

adidas YEEZY 500 High "Wakaran"

Release Date: February 8

Where to Buy: YEEZY SUPPLY and select retailers

Editor’s Notes: The "Wakaran" YEEZY 500 High is the second colorway of the silhouette to appear via official imagery this week, leading us to believe Kanye West and adidas are on the cusp of releasing a string of iterations. Slated to arrive in just a matter of days, the "Wakaran" showcases an earthy colorway, pairing a beige neoprene, leather, and suede upper with a dark gray sole unit. The sneaker comes sans branding on the exterior, with tonal rope laces.

Louis Vuitton LV 408 Trainer

Release Date: TBC

Where to Buy: Louis Vuitton

Editor’s Notes: The newest colorway of Virgil Abloh's LV 408 Trainer closely mimics the popular iridescent Keepall from Louis Vuitton's SS19 collection. The high-top sneaker is covered in a transparent technical material featuring subtle monogram details. The Louis Vuitton signature — handwritten by Abloh — is featured on the side of the shoe, while "408" also appears on the side, referencing August 4, Louis Vuitton's date of birth.

Nike Air Zoom Alphafly NEXT% "Mint Green"

Release Date: TBC

Where to Buy: Nike and select retailers

Editor’s Notes: Nike continues to slowly churn out bright colorways of its record-breaking marathon runner, the Air Zoom Alphafly NEXT%. The latest iteration to appear boasts a Mint Green-colored AtomKnit upper, an updated version of Nike's signature Flyknit material. Below, you will find a beefy ZoomX midsole made with a full-length carbon fiber plate and forefoot ZOOM Air cushioning. Whether you're trying to PR in your next race, or simply want an eye-catching pair of Swoosh kicks, these should do the trick.

JSP x Vault by Vans Chukka 79 VLT LX

Release Date: February 10

Where to Buy: JSP, Lapstone & Hammer, and Nocturnal

Editor’s Notes: Vans has teamed up with skateboarder Jimmy Gorecki and his brand JSP (Jimmy Sweatpants) for the first time ever to release two sneakers celebrating Philadelphia skateboarding and the city’s revered Love Park. Also contributing to the collaboration is local artist and skater Joe Lees, who Gorecki chose to decorate the Chukka 79 VLT LX with his signature style. The co-branded Vault by Vans Chukka Boot is offered in marshmallow and black colorways, each constructed from buttery suede. A racing red checkerboard midsole draws attention to the bottom portion of the shoe, as it is marked with “JSP,” “215,” and “LOVE” custom hits by Lees.
