Harmony Paris presents its SS18 collection titled “Da Alfredo Positano,” a tribute to the Italian restaurant in St Germain de Prés, in France, where the brand’s founder/designer David Obadia dined as a child, as well as the small town Positano, located on the Amalfi Coast in Italy.
By embodying his humble beginnings and capturing the style of the area to influence this latest collection, the line exudes a structured and summery look, as the usage of light colors like white and beige complement royal blue tones found throughout the collection as a reference to the color of the houses found on the Amalfi Coast. In addition, materials like wool, mohair and wool crepe converge with lighter fabrics like silk, cupro and even towelling.
With tailored contemporary looks mixed with Italian nonchalance and Parisian flair dominating the line, key pieces range from double breasted jackets and light shirts to white jeans.
