Kanye West is one of many celebrities set to feature on the subscribers’ cover of Harper's Bazaar’s September "Icons" issue. The rapper will appear alongside his two eldest children, North and Saint.
The edition was overseen by French editor Carine Roitfeld, who spoke to WWD on how the theme came about. “I’m a very family-oriented person, so I wanted to meet the families of some of my biggest music idols,” she said, adding, “It was amazing to see that some of the industry’s most groundbreaking rock stars have a sense of tenderness with their loved ones — even if they are adults."
For West's issue, the rapper poses for Mario Sorrenti and speaks about his role as a father and his children's future, noting, “I hope my children never lose their confidence to society." Fans may recall that West appeared on the magazine's 2016 "Icons" cover alongside wife Kim Kardashian.
Other names set to feature in the September issue include Bruce Springsteen, Christina Aguilera, Lionel Richie, Mariah Carey, Billy Idol, Steven Tyler, and Erykah Badu, the majority of whom also appear with their children.
