Kanye West took to Twitter early this morning to share an update to his website, which shows new footage of his recent recording session with T.I. for “Ye vs. the People.”

Producer Mike Dean and fashion consultant Tremaine Emory (@denimtears) can be seen in the background as West and T.I. brainstorm lyrics in a music studio. During the discussion, West notes “…me putting the hat on, forces an evolution, because there’s, even for me, I know so much more in the past three days, because I’m getting this energy, positive or negative, agreeing with me, disagreeing with me.” He goes on to note, “When I wear that hat, it’s a fight for equality.”
