[UPDATE] October 1, 2018 6:00 p.m. EST After Kim Kardashian tweeted YANDHI‘s rescheduled release date of November 23, a new interview between Kanye West and TMZ’s Harvey Levin has surfaced. During the sit-down the two spoke about Ye’s upcoming album, to which he says he’s heading to Africa to finish.

“I felt this energy when I was in Chicago,” Kanye noted, “I felt the roots. But we have to go what is known as Africa.”

YANDHI was originally scheduled to arrive over the weekend on Saturday, coinciding with Kanye’s Saturday Night Live performance.

In addition to speaking on the album with TMZ, Ye also mentioned that he is trying to arrange a meeting between Colin Kaepernick and Donald Trump.

The weekend came and went and still no YANDHI from Kanye West. He did fulfill his Saturday Night Live obligations, however, which resulted in widespread boo’s due to a pro-Trump rant.

Now, Kim Kardashian has taken to social media to announce a new release date of Black Friday, November 23, for YANDHI. “TRUST ME it is worth the wait,” she insists. Hopefully it’s a project we’ll all be thankful for.

As it stands, Kanye has yet to confirm or deny the new YANDHI drop date.

In other Ye news, Lana Del Rey, Chris Evans, and Donald Trump, among others, have responded to West’s controversial ‘SNL’ speech.

Not NYC, not LA.
