Virgil Abloh's long-anticipated first show at the helm of Louis Vuitton menswear has just wrapped up in Paris — and things got emotional.

Taking in proceedings from a front-row seat was Kanye West, who was joined by wife Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, and Travis Scott. The track "I Thought About Killing You" from West's new album, ye, got an airing and performing band BADBADNOTGOOD also ran through a jazzy instrumental cover of "Ghost Town" from the same album.

At the end of the show, Abloh took to the runway and shared a hug with West, with both men moved to tears.

Peep some Twitter reactions to the emotional moment below.

West broke his silence on Abloh's Louis Vuitton gig in an interview with Axel Vervoordt two months ago, telling the legendary architect how he had been dealing with a "very heavy concept." When pressed if something bad had happened, West replied, “It's not bad or good, it's my creative collaborator being the head of Louis Vuitton." This led to talk of friction between the pair, but clearly, such speculation is unfounded.

The open-air show took place in the garden of the Palais-Royal. Kid Cudi, Theophilus London, Steve Lacy, Dev Hynes, Playboi Carti, A$AP Nast, Lucien Clarke, and Blondey McCoy all walked the runway. Many other big names were in attendance, including Rihanna, Russell Westbrook, and Naomi Campbell.
