Kanye West made headlines this past weekend when he shared sketches of YEEZY footwear designs that are apparently slated for 2019. The sketches showed seven new models and were, let's say, quite rough.

Three of the models are updates to current sneakers: the YEEZY Boost 700 Wave Runner, the YEEZY Boost 350, and the YEEZY 500.

Of course, like with anything West does nowadays, his sketches went straight under the microscope, eliciting some wild reactions on Twitter. Most people made fun of the fact that the sketches looked like a child had done them, while others compared the designs to existing sneakers — to hilarious effect.

Check out the best reactions below.

The inspiration?

The consensus was that Kanye isn’t the best at sketching

Some were unimpressed

But ’Ye’s stans were out in force, too

Of course, it became a Nike vs. adidas thing
