News broke today that Kanye West was doing "much better" after being hospitalized for exhaustion and a psychiatric evaluation earlier this week. And though he has received an outpouring of support from fans and celebrities alike, many have been quick to lambast the rapper for his erratic behavior. To all the people in the latter category, Lady Gaga has a message for you: cut that shit out.

Gaga took to Twitter and called for an end to the senseless joking and shaming that has taken place in the days since his hospitalization. "It's not funny to joke about anyone's possible or not possible mental illness," she wrote, directly addressing those who have not considered the seriousness of Kanye's condition. Read her tweets below:

Lupe Fiasco, a frequent West collaborator, has also shared his thoughts in solidarity with Kanye:

Mental illness in the celebrity world is a topic of incredible pertinence of late. Shortly before Kanye's incidents last week, Kid Cudi made a very public announcement of his struggles with depression. His admission was also met with a mixture of sympathy and amusement, and has sparked a debate that continues to be discussed. In the meantime, we wish Kanye a speedy recovery.

Lady Gaga's new album Joanne is out now. Stream it below via Spotify:

In other music news, Gucci Mane has dropped yet another musical release. This one is a collaborative mixtape with Lil Uzi Vert. Listen to it right here.
