Model: Air Max 90
Key Features: The upper is a deep orange and red, just like the surface of Mars, with orange laces and inner to match. The black, speckled midsole hints at outer space, and matches the deeper colors of the craters in Mars’ surface. The Nike Air patches on the tongue and heel finish off the space vibes in a metallic gray.
Release Date: March 16
Editor’s Notes: Similar to 2014’s Air Max Lunar90 “Moon Landing,” the Air Max 90 “Mars Landing” lets the extraterrestrial object do the talking.
The sneaker’s outsole pattern and reflective detailing take inspiration from the famous Mars rover that roamed the planet. While this colorway is a lot louder than the aforementioned Moon Landing version, collectors won’t be able to resist adding it to their collection considering how popular the release in 2014 proved to be.
