Editor’s Notes: The Nike Dunk’s peak popularity was reached in the summer of 2020, yet remains one of the most sought-after sneakers. Judging by confirmed spring releases and rumored upcoming colorways, it looks as if Nike will be giving the silhouette an even bigger (and more widely available) push in 2021.

The majority of that push will consist of general release colorways, though collaborators like Chicago retailer Notre look to further drive subsequent sales of the Dunk.

Notre's first footwear collaboration with Nike Sportswear includes two colorways of the Dunk High. The team drew inspiration from classic workwear, ultimately choosing "materials that’ll look better the harder you thrash them," Notre said.

The collaborative Dunks find heavy canvas and shaggy suede coming together on the upper, as each iteration is reinforced with triple stitching. The Swoosh has been turned into Notre’s signature handshake motif, which the retailer previously used on its Vans Old Skool collab, while a name tag-style badge is attached to one of the tongues.

Both colorways of the Notre x Nike Dunk High will be available exclusively at Notre on January 21. A wider release of the blue iteration is then scheduled for January 23 through SNKRS.
