Both styles feature a reflective N logo, as well as Pop branding on the sock liner and a custom-made lace keeper. Both pairs have an ENCAP midsole.
Release Date: June 1 (Pop Trading Company Amsterdam), June 3 (Pop Trading Company online), and June 7 (select retailers)
Price: €170 (suede, approximately $190) and €190 (tumbled leather, approximately $212)
Buy: Pop Trading Company and select retailers (see list below)
Editor’s Notes: Pop Trading Company has teamed up with New Balance for two stylish takes on the M1500 silhouette. The Amsterdam retailer was founded in 2013 and has strong roots in skateboarding, having started as a distribution company selling brands such as Palace and Polar before developing its own line in 2015.
The sneakers, which come in two different kinds of premium leather with tonal colorways, show how collaborations don’t need to be over the top to hit the spot. Pop Trading Company has kept the look simple, with two classy colorways that can be dressed up or down.
The collaboration drops initially at Pop’s Amsterdam store on June 1, followed by online on June 3 and select retailers getting the kicks on June 7.
