Salehe Bembury continues to strengthen his list of collaborators, having recently worked with the likes of New Balance and ANTA. The former Versace designer can now add another brand to his resume, as he is prepping a release with none other than Crocs.

After initially teasing the Crocs collaboration on February 11 via a video (which didn’t reveal any details of the actual product), Bembury then gave us our first glimpse at the Salehe x Crocs pair (below). More recently, however, the designer has once again taken to social media to give us a clearer look at the shoe (above), which boasts a fingerprint-like pattern with lugged grooves, similar to the motif implemented on the heel of his New Balance 2002R collab. From the preview, we also see a distinctive strap that certainly distinguishes itself from other Crocs clogs.

Days leading up to the reveal, Bembury shared details about his Crocs collaboration by answering questions on his Instagram Stories. We learned that the accompanying image he posted isn't an actual colorway (see below), instead it is a mere sample. Unlike the majority of Crocs' recent collabs, the project will seemingly not center around the Classic Clog as we know it, as Salehe has been given the freedom to "open a new mold," as he puts it. And while a release date has yet to be revealed, the designer did disclose that retailers such as GR8, Sneakersnstuff London, and JUICE will carry the collab.

News of Bembury's impending Crocs collab comes as the designer recently released his second New Balance 2002R. For Crocs, Bembury bolsters the footwear manufacturers' ever-growing lineup of collaborators, which includes Post Malone, Justin Bieber, Nicole McLaughlin, and Bad Bunny, to name a few.
