Editor’s Notes: As a city of approximately 9 million people, Tokyo’s street style is diverse to say the least. Sometimes it’s about the loud prints and sub-cultural references, but here, our photographer Nicholas Yuthanan Chalmeau has captured the city’s more low key styles including flannel shirts and cozy pants, athletic track jackets with chinos, and copious layers of navy, brown and gray.
