[UPDATE: January 21, 2018 4:00 a.m. ET] After much anticipation, Vince Staples recently took to Instagram to tease a first look at his forthcoming Converse collaboration. Enjoy your first look at the sneakers above, as well as in the attached Instagram post below. Some may notice the similarities between each sneaker’s design and the aesthetic cues of Vince’s most recent studio album, ‘Big Fish Theory’.

Following up Tyler, The Creator's Converse x Golf le FLEUR* collaboration, fellow LA artist Vince Staples is gearing up for his own drop with the revered label.

As seen on Converse's official site, details around the partnership will be released this January. While a Staples team-up is hugely anticipated, this is not the first time the rapper has worked with the brand.

Just last year, Vince was tapped to explore the relationship between Chucks and LA culture as a part of the brand's "Forever Chuck" series. He then went on to star in the campaign for the hybrid Converse Flyknit.

It appears as though Staples is one of a few LA collabs set to drop from the brand this year. Recently, Converse tapped tattoo artist, Dr. Woo on the Chuck 70 model, and a BornxRaised drop is expected to follow in February.

Sadly, details of the partnership are few and far between, but either way, we're looking forward to it. Check out the original post on the Converse site and let us know in the comments what you'd like to see.
