Converse worked with SAK by Japanese designer Ryusaka Hiruma.

“For Spring Summer 2010, Hiruma has married his style with Converse and together they have created a collection of deeply desirable trainers. Re-designing and hand stitching a few of the true Converse classics – such as Chuck Taylor, Jack Purcell and the One Star – Sak has given each shoe leather soles that resembles that of a luxurious dress shoe, and ink printed logos that gives them a playful feeling. Each shoe comes in natural shades of tan, off-white and black leather with hand cut logos.”

The outcome are very high end looking versions of these classic sneakers with super soft leather on the uppers and beautiful details. Of course that also comes with a price. They are estimated to go between 600 USD and 800 USD retail.

More looks at the SAK x Converse collaboration sneakers follow after the jump.
