The second instalment of the collaboration between Louis Vuitton and Jeff Koons takes a step further in exploring the intersection of fashion and art with “Masters II”, a collection of bags and accessories designed by the world-renowned contemporary artist.

As with the first, the second collection will also be based on the artist’s “Masters” series of paintings and will debut on October 27. Included are paintings by François Boucher, Paul Gauguin, Edouard Manet, Claude Monet, Nicolas Poussin and J.m.W. Turner.

Each bag features a version of the Louis Vuitton Monogram reconfigured to bear Jeff Koons’s initials. A radical shift for the luxury house, which has previously never allowed its iconic logo and pattern to be reshaped.

The bags will also carry a tag in the shape of Koons’s iconic inflatable rabbit, while a biography and portrait of the Master, whose work has been referenced, is featured on the inside of the bag.

Check out the director’s cut of the collection teaser above and then take a look at COMME des GARÇONS Black x Nike‘s premium sportswear collection.
