Crocs’ list of collaborators makes for a great read. From Balenciaga and Palace to Post Malone and Justin Bieber, the clog company's link-ups with designers, brands and artists inevitably brings about guaranteed-to-sell-out goodness.

For its latest co-release Crocs has enlisted Angelo Baque’s Awake NY to rejoin its clog revolution, yielding a paint-splattered colorway equipped with customizable Jibbitz charms.

Spotlighted with a campaign featuring local New York City artists and creatives, this drop follows the debut collaboration from three years ago wherein Baque designed a two-piece footwear capsule with the theme of “Home Is Where The Heart Is.”

“These Crocs are an ode to the artisans, craftspeople, and makers,” said Baque of Awake NY's 2022 Crocs collaboration.

“The design pays homage to my favorite pair of pants, which were custom-made by a very dear friend of mine. I’m in awe of those who work with their hands, especially in today’s times. That’s why I chose to highlight local artisans and spaces for the campaign.”

These kicks are only the latest highlight of Baque's busy 2022: the former Supreme creative director devised Awake NY x Lacoste, beheld a recent Awake hoodie gain new relevance when it appeared atop a pregnant Rihanna, and even joined the Queens Museum's Board of Trustees.

Crocs, meanwhile, has never been more stylish thanks to recent collaborations with SZA and Salehe Bembury.

The Awake NY x Crocs Classic Clog drops on May 25 at 11AM EST and will be available at the Awake NY shop and Footlocker's web store.
