Model: Chuck 70 and Jack Purcell
Key Features: The Chuck 70 is dressed top to bottom and inside out with soft sherpa lining. The palette is kept neutral and the outside features patchwork color-blocking, with the contrasting shades of sherpa separated by a zipper running down the entirety of the heel. The Jack Purcell model, meanwhile, features the insulating material on the inside only, with a tonal suede upper used on the outside of the upper. Both pairs feature a bear paw print on the outsoles.
Release Date: February 1
Buy: Converse and select retailers TBC
Editor’s Notes: After several successful Nike collaborations, Hong Kong label CLOT has now turned its attention to Swoosh-owned Converse for its latest sneaker collab.
Both the Chuck 70 and Jack Purcell models serve as the canvas for the hookup. Each has been outfitted with insulating sherpa lining and is inspired in part by the North Pole.
The Chuck 70 is the more adventurous of the two, constructed using a patchwork of real and faux fur on both the inside and outside of the shoe, inspired by polar bears. The Jack Purcell, on the other hand, features a premium suede upper and sherpa lining for added warmth.
Check out both sneakers above and expect them to drop on February 1.
