Editor’s Notes: “Nike,” “Falcon” and “Dimension Six” were three possible brand names bouncing around before Nike became the all-encompassing brand name it is today. Inspired by the learnings expressed in “Shoe Dog,” the memoir of Nike's co-founder and chairman emeritus, Phil Knight, the pack references brand’s earliest days with three takes on its iconic Cortez silhouette.

Last week saw the second release of Nike’s Stranger Things collaboration -- which included a Cortez iteration -- and now we see three more, similarly nostalgic iterations. The “Dimension Six,” incidentally Knight's preferred brand name, comes with a modernist design; the simple red sphere is particularly striking here. The “Falcon” is the more ornate of the three, with a large, falcon-like design stitched across the sneaker’s lateral side. Lastly, and most prolifically, the “Nike” iteration bears a version of Carolyn Davidson’s iconic Swoosh logo.
