We all know that fashion in the digital world is inevitable – just look at the most recent Meta avatars and their new 'fits.

In the gaming world, fashion has played a big role in recent years (we're talking pre-Metaverse, can you believe it!), with luxury labels getting involved with various games. Louis Vuitton has designed skins for League of Legends, Gucci collaborated with 100 Thieves and debuted its own tennis game, and now Prada is joining forces with Ubisoft.

If you're into winter sports, you may have already spent a significant amount of time drooling over the label's Linea Rossa AspenX collection. The label's $3,600 snowboard even made an appearance in the Olympics, and the full collection features everything from skis and poles, to helmets, goggles, and apparel. The only downside is that it is all really, really expensive.

But, Prada is making our dreams come true. Teaming up with Riders Republic, players of the game will now be able to wear Prada Linea Rossa in the game, competing in a wide range of sports including biking, skiing, snowboarding, and other extreme sports.

Translating the technical sportswear into the virtual world, pieces will be available starting today, February 8. In addition to the classic designs, players will also be able to customize their characters using different prints including "The Flame," "Wild Stripes," and "Camouflage Rock."

Lastly, in addition to the outfits, there will also be weekly challenges as well as a permanent event dubbed "Prada Beyond the Line."

As we're slowly moving towards the Metaverse becoming our everyday reality, the ability to do ski season virtually comes as a big relief. If I can't wear Prada on the physical slopes, then I'll sure as hell be wearing the virtual version.
