In early 2019, Italian retailer Slam Jam celebrated its 30th anniversary with the release of the upside-down Swoosh “Class of 1977” Nike Blazer Mid. Now, leaked product images suggest that the original release will be followed up by a second upside-down Swoosh Blazer, this time flipping the colorway with a black base and white Swoosh.
The second SlamJam x Nike Blazer Mid features the same “Class” and “1977” detailing on the heels found on the original release. The medial Swoosh is upside down, while the lateral Swoosh remains unchanged. The material used on the lateral and medial sides are also different, with a black canvas base used on the lateral sides and a black leather base used on the medial sides. Suede overlays are seen at the laces, toe box, and sides of the shoe.
Reports suggest the black colorway will be available via raffle from November 9 to November 28, with a release following on November 29. As always, stay tuned for updates and an official announcement.
