Publisher Taschen and magazine Sneaker Freaker have teamed up for new kick anthology, The Ultimate Sneaker Book, featuring highlights from Sneaker Freaker’s 17-year history.
The 650-page hardcover book is packed with reports, reviews, interviews, photographs, and more, covering the trajectory of sneaker culture, from the rise of Michael Jordan’s eponymous shoe line to Reebok dominating the ’80s aerobics craze and the phenomenon of Kanye West and YEEZY.
While a limited release did take place near the end of 2018, a full restock will see the book given a much wider release. Priced at $50, the book is coming soon to outlets such as Barneys and will also be available directly from Taschen.
