It’s no secret that Nike sneakers tend to inspire some pretty insane behavior – whether it’s rabid collecting, incessant Instagram posts or adorning them with the hides of dead snakes – but in one fell swoop Parisian artist Christophe Guinet (née Mr Plant) has one-upped sneakerheads the world over by turning the sportswear leviathan’s shoes into a series of living plant sculptures. Flipping the immortal Nike “Just Do It” motto, the “Just Grow It” series features a series of mid-top dunks adorned with flowers, grass and bark, continuing the artist’s ongoing obsession with all things floral. To check out the full series along with a slew of other flower-inspired street art, head over to Mr Plant’s website.

If you’re after some flowery Nike products that are a little easier to wear, go check out the sportswear leviathan’s latest sneaker and apparel collab with London floral experts Liberty.
