Japanese label COMME des GARÇONS has debuted its first-ever sneaker collaboration with Nike at its men's show at Paris Fashion Week under the brand's Homme Plus line.

The partnership sees the two brands redesign Nike's Dunk silhouette in a black and creamy white colorway, with transparent PVC panels on the side. Swoosh branding appears at the tongue, with "CDG" lettering at the heel.

COMME des GARÇONS' previous collaborations with Converse and Timberland quickly sold out and became enormous cult classics with consumers. COMME des GARÇONS Black, one of the CDG subsidiary lines, has also collaborated with Nike in the past. In 2013, it released a black Air Force One low-top in leather and suede — which, again, was so successful that it later warranted a re-release at Dover Street Market this year. The two labels will be hoping for similar success this time out.

Elsewhere in CDG's footwear offerings, head designer Rei Kawakubo showed lace-up creepers with paint splatters that color-matched the soles.

Stay tuned for release dates.

Earlier this year, CDG held its once-every-three-years "mega sale," here’s what we bought.
