Release Date: N/A
Buy: Exclusively gifted to the current UNC team, as well as friends and family of the program and Jordan Brand.
Editor’s Notes: To honor Michael Jordan‘s almat mater, University of North Carolina, and in celebration of the 35th anniversary of Michael Jordan’s NCAA title, as well as to salute the university’s 2017 championship, Tinker Hatfield and Dan Sunwoo have created a limited, friends and family edition of the Converse Pro Leather.
This style was worn by Jordan during the 1982 tournament, and as Hatfield explains, “MJ was wearing the Converse Pro Leather in the 1982 Championship. He is often quoted as saying he felt he became Michael Jordan in that moment.” He added, “To signify the birth of MJ, I had the Converse logo fade out and the Jumpman appear.”
Unfortunately, this exclusive variation of the silhouette will not be available to the public.
