Mere hours after announcing their collaboration on an Air Zoom Lauderdale, fragment design and NikeLab are back for more. For its newest sneaker, the brands have turned to a silhouette that has been explored in great detail in recent months: the Tennis Classic. This summer alone has seen the iconic shoe been wrought in uppers made from leather, a woven canvas and, most recently, a super-chic multicolor Ultra Flyknit. But the brands have take it back to the drawing board for the new Tennis Classic AC “RGB” pack.
Though the title of the pack may be a mystery to some, anyone with a basic knowledge of web design and/or Photoshop will know exactly which colorways are being presented. "RGB" is of course in reference to the basic palette of red, green and blue, each of which are presented in a clean-cut presentation on the iconic classic silhouette. These letter initials are laden on the heel tab of the shoe, and each pair is almost entirely monochromatically white, from sole to upper, with the respective colors only appearing on the heel tab and inner detailing. The upper's material is wrought from premium leather, with a slight perforation appearing via detailing of the Swoosh.
The fragment design x NikeLab Tennis Classic AC in red, green and blue will be available through retailer INVINCIBLE (in store and online) tomorrow, September 8.
