While much of the world is rallying around Houston, Texas following the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey, the Kardashian family has gotten in on the act with a massive $500,000 USD pledge.

The donation follows up on a challenge from Kevin Hart, imploring all celebrities to give.

"Houston we are praying for you," Khloé Kardashian tweeted following her family's donation to the Red Cross and Salvation Army.

Hart and the Kardashians aren't the only ones coming to aid, however, as another notable contribution has come from none other than Houston native, Beyoncé, courtesy of her philanthropic organization, BeyGOOD.

"My heart goes out to my hometown, Houston, and I remain in constant prayer for those affected and for the rescuers who have been so brave and determined to do so much to help,” Bey stated when speaking with the Houston Chronicle. “I am working closely with my team at BeyGOOD as well as my pastor (Rudy Rasmus at St. John’s in downtown Houston) to implement a plan to help as many as we can."

Other celebrities who have pledged include Dwayne Johnson, Jennifer Lopez, Alex Rodriguez, Chris Brown, T.I., Drake, DJ Khaled, Nicki Minaj, Cher, Lil B and Lady Antebellum, among others.

Select areas of Houston have experienced more than 40 inches of rain, beginning this past Friday and stretching through Tuesday morning. Reports estimate that more 450,000 people will seek federal aid due to damages caused by Harvey.
