Editor’s Notes: NEIGHBORHOOD’s Shinsuke Takizawa has totally remixed two of Converse’s most iconic silhouettes, the Jack Purcell and Chuck 70. Both styles are given triple black makeovers with functional additions, such as the aforementioned moto-inspired forefoot strap on the Chuck 70. Traditional Japanese themes, such as Kanji detailing, also feature throughout.
Both styles, as well as a range of co-branded apparel, are available through Highsnobiety’s own shop, as well as via Converse and other select retailers beginning today, August 24.
Previously in 2017, NEIGHBORHOOD remixed Converse’s classic low-top One Star sneaker.
