Editor’s Notes: The Nike Air Jordan 3 Tinker, which has already been released in several colorways, including this Air Max 1-inspired iteration, is set to drop in a stealthy black/white makeup today.

The Air Jordan 3 Tinker comes from an original sketch by designer Tinker Hatfield when he was creating Michael Jordan’s third signature kick. The final version dropped the Swoosh and has been widely credited with keeping Michael Jordan at Nike. The Swoosh has dropped several prototype-inspired sneakers of late, most recently this “Sketch” Air Max 1.

This drop joins the “Air Max 1” Air Jordan 3 Tinker, the University of Oregon PE, the original white/black/gray model, and Justin Timberlake’s “White Cement” and “Bio Beige” versions.
