Brand: Nike

Model: Air Max Plus

Key Features: The shiny gold upper comes in a patent leather and mesh mix, accented by elements of black on the laces and outsole alongside a "University Red" Swoosh.

Release Date: May 17

Price: $150

Availability: Nike

Editor’s Notes: Gold is definitely having a moment over at Nike. Back in April, a metallic gold Air Max 97 was announced, followed by a gold revamp of the Air Max Jewell, and now the sneaker company has turned its metallic sights towards the classic Air Max Plus. Add to that those gold Supreme x Nike Air More Uptempo and it's obvious that gold is the color to cop this spring.

Though currently unconfirmed, the release is rumored to be a women-exclusive offering. So unless you have particularly small feet, male fans may be out of luck here.

In other sneaker news, Twitter is roasting Lonzo Ball’s $495 “Big Baller Brand” sneakers.
