No big media event, no in-game debut, no post on Nike.com — LeBron James has decided to take matters into his own hands to unveil his new Nike LeBron 16. Initially, Bron was spotted as a spectator in a UCLA gymnasium, donning his latest Swoosh signature, as he then took to Instagram to share multiple shots of the silhouette.

James’ first signature as a Los Angeles Laker, the LeBron 16 boasts a new Battleknit pattern on the upper, in addition to featuring a visible Air Unit that looks identical to his previous shoe. We then see Bron’s lion logo featured on the heel overlay.

LBJ’s Nike LeBron 16 is reported to debut in black and university red on September 20. Be sure to check back with us for pricing and additional details.

In other news, LeBron is hosting a pick-up game in Berlin next month.
