To celebrate the release of their Tech Fleece Aeroloft Collection and their eight new Sneakerboots for 2015, Nike have released details of a brand new secret concept space in the heart of London, known as the “Tech Pack Armoury”.
The new off-the-grid location, which is strictly invite-only, allows guests to witness, first-hand, the technology ingrained within the new Aeroloft Collection unveiled earlier this month, as well as within their winter sneakerboot releases.
Six spaces in the temporary London concept store have been designed as full, immersive experiences, each dedicated to particular aspects of either the sneakerboots or the unique technology seen within the Aeroloft Collection. Spaces include the ‘winter chamber’, the ‘weather tunnel’, the ‘rain room’ and the ‘warmth lounge’.
The Tech Fleece Aeroloft Collection features an 800-fill down rating across the fabrics. The tri-layering of plush foam and cotton jersey means the garments are both lightweight and optimized for efficient thermoregulation when you’re out training in the colder winter months. Meanwhile, falling across a total of eight styles for men and women, the sneakerboots rework key elements from Nike’s running, basketball and lifestyle catalogs into a series of rugged, winter-ready iterations. Nike have prepped the Flyknit, Lunar Force and Air Max for men, alongside the Acorra and Dunk Sky High silhouettes for women, into their 2015 sneakerboot collection, which guests have seen first-hand at the concept space in the UK capital this week.
