Earlier today Prada showed its Spring/Summer 2020 men's collection in Shanghai. With the range we find the Italian luxury fashion house exploring the meaning of clothing, as classics are decontextualized, building upon the concepts referenced in the 2020 Prada Resort collection. Contrast and color are utilized to reconfigure silhouettes and further offer duality.

As the label manipulates proportions, differing lengths can be seen layered in various garments to challenge the familiar form of the pieces. Elongated shirts are paired with tailored jackets, while polo shirts and sweatshirts are given macro volume.

Prada showcases a vibrant color palette throughout the collection, making use of soft neutrals alongside khaki and black. A handful of styles then welcome badges and patches as they are implemented like trophies. Furthermore, the Prada logo is remixed to showcase a retro-futuristic aesthetic.

At the core, Prada's SS20 men's collection rebels against the norm, as just with fashion, the house is ever changing.
