NikeLab is set to reissue the Air Force 1 in a plush “Vachetta Tan” leather colorway that looks more than a little familiar. The natural tanned leather look, pioneered by Hender Scheme, was huge in 2015, and kickstarted a ton of copycat behavior from the sneaker game’s big players – Jordan released a tanned friends-and-family CP9 sneaker back in October, while Nike recently revealed that the Air Max BW would return in a similar colorway.

It’s not just Hender Scheme that this AF1 bears a resemblance to – high fashion house Celine’s FW14 footwear line contained an extremely familiar shoe, too.

The shoe lands January 9 at Nike.com and select NikeLab accounts worldwide.
