In honor of Kobe Bryant’s longstanding relationship with the Swoosh, Nike is gearing up to release an extensive “Black Mamba” pack. The collection is a celebration of Bryant’s legacy as well as 13 years of Kobe-inspired design and innovation. Accordingly, 13 shoes are featured in the range, his 11 Nike signatures and the Huarache 2K4 and original Hyperdunk, which are both closely tied to Bryant.

The collection slowly fades to black with each sneaker release, as a metaphor for Kobe’s final NBA game on April 13. Thirteen cities are also represented within the “Black Mamba” pack, with GPS coordinate markings being featured in the shoe boxes.

The first release from the “Black Mamba” capsule is the white Huarache 2K4 that will become available tomorrow, March 22. Each drop will be available globally in limited quantities.

Stance also recently honored Kobe Bryant by releasing a special sock collection.

Not NYC, not LA.
