The Nike Bruin was originally launched as a basketball silhouette back in 1972. Since then, it has done as some sneakers do and crossed over to the realm of skateboarding. Now, Nike SB has revamped the board-ready shoe, presenting the all-new Bruin Hyperfeel.

The silhouette features the classic look of the Bruin sneaker, all while showcasing Nike’s Hyperfeel concept, much like the Koston 3 Hyperfeel. The performance technology is designed to deliver the ultimate board feel, in large part due to the shoe’s anatomical upper construction, PU drop-in sockliner and flexible rubber outsole.

On the upper, suede is combined with TPU skin, Hyperscreen overlays, and a stretch mesh tongue gusset. The polyurethane (PU) drop-in sockliner in turn delivers soft and responsive cushioning, as it is thicker in the heel for added protection. Articulated grooves in the forefoot then further improve board feel. Finally, a herringbone pattern has been applied multi-directionally to the outsole for superior grip.

The Nike SB Bruin Hyperfeel is now available through the Nike SB app and will arrive at select shops and online on April 1.

Not NYC, not LA.
