Brand: ACRONYM x Nike

Model: Air VaporMax Moc 2

Key Features: The sneakers feature an industrial pattern across Nike Flyknit uppers, plus contrasting heel support and bold texture treatments. Following previous two releases, “Johnny’s Icy Passage” in light bone/volt, and “The Illusional ’Ja” in black/volt, the “Thirsty Bandit” comes in ACRONYM camo-infused in sail/cargo khaki/dark stucco.

Release Date: All colorways of the pack initially dropped on March 23, exclusively on acrnm.com. That launch was followed by the wider release of the light bone/volt colorway on March 26, while the black/black/volt dropped on April 26. Oki-Ni has now restocked an entire size run of the first pair to drop.

Now the “Thirsty Bandit” sail/cargo khaki/dark stucco colorway is set to release on May 15. The sneakers will all be available on the Nike SNKRS app, nike.com and at select Nike retailers.

Price: $250

Buy: Oki-Ni

Editor’s Notes: To celebrate Air Max Day 2018, Nike and Berlin-based technical specialists ACRONYM teamed up on a pack that consists of three colorways of the Air VaporMax Moc 2. The collaboration follows up on the highlight successful Lunar Force 1 pack from 2015, as well as the following Presto Mid pack from 2016, then the all-white Lunar Force 1 from late 2017.

For the launch of the Nike Air VaporMax x ACRONYM, Nike partnered with Errolson Hugh and John Mayer to create a Western-themed film teaser and posters around the shoe. The posters were displayed at the famous Los Feliz Theater in Los Angeles.
