Brand: COMME des GARÇONS x Nike ACG

Model: Air Mowabb

Key Features: Off-white suede panels stand in subtle contrast to the Mowabb’s white neoprene upper, which COMME des GARÇONS uses to further accentuate the chunky shape of the Mowabb. Ankle support with ACG branding on its side is present, while the silhouette’s signature chunky midsole and heel counter are, of course, key parts of the design.

Release Date: TBC

Price: $300

Buy: The sneakers dropped and subsequently sold out at Barneys New York. A wider release is expected to follow, albeit has not been officially confirmed.

Editor’s Notes: Fresh off of collaborating on the Nike Air 180, COMME des GARÇONS has put some work in on Nike’s trail-ready Mowabb silhouette, one of the most beloved sneakers from Nike’s ACG range.

One of the Swoosh’s most influential ACG sneakers, the Mowabb, is dressed up in what looks like white micro-suede, however, the design is kept simple. The Japanese fashion house is clearly letting the sneaker flex its “chunky muscles” as shapely shoes continue to be highly popular.

No official word has been shared on when these might see a wider public release, having already dropped (and sold out) at Barneys New York. The pictures above, courtesy of Sneaker News, were taken at a runway show in Paris last week.
