This memorial day weekend was probably not one of Kanye West's best. While most other Americans were relaxing in their backyard by the grill, Ye was getting his personal studio in Calabasas, California robbed of equipment.

The burglar (or burglars) made out with $20,000 worth of recording gear, mostly a selection of laptops and desk computers. However, the recently released police report mentioned that no classified details from the computers were at risk thanks to Ye's “heavy duty tech security.” The plot thickens with a confidential source from celebrity news publication TMZ, who believes that the theft was an inside job from a member of Kanye’s team. Whoever is responsible is a brave soul, as 'Ye does not seem like someone you want on your bad side.

Stay tuned for a response from Kanye West’s team and more info on the burglary.

In happier Kanye-related news, The Shoe Surgeon created a custom quilted version of the Yeezy Boost 350.
