While we don't want to jinx anything, it looks like Kanye West will actually drop Jesus Is King this time. Last night, Ye took over The Forum in Los Angeles for the premier of his much anticipated album and corresponding film, both set to drop on Friday October 25.

Kanye hinted at the special event when the album pre-sales went live on Tuesday. The pre-sales were said to “include presale ticket access to an upcoming Kanye West event.” Later that day, ticket sales went up on Ticketmaster and The Forum confirmed the event via Twitter.

The listening and viewing party kicked off at 8pm, fans filled the arena which had been transformed into a jungle landscape, which Kanye revealed was an installation by artist Meg Webster. Fans were given exclusive Jesus Is King movie merch, in the film's signature royal blue. West kicked off the event with a speech amidst the crowd, before the film began to play on a massive video display. Following the movie screening, Kanye played the album and performed bits of it surrounded by the hyped crowd.

While it was a phone-free event Kim Kardashian, of course, had us covered, sharing videos live from The Forum. Some fans managed to sneak some clips as well. We've rounded up everything there is to know about what went down at the Jesus Is King premier below.
