[UPDATE] December 13, 2017 10:05 a.m. EST Kanye West does indeed seem to be meeting Donald Trump.

According to the President Elect, him and Mr. West have "been friends for a long time."

Just a few minutes ago, CNN political correspondent Tal Kopan tweeted an image of Kanye West entering the main lobby of Trump Tower in New York City.

Check out the series of tweets below.

Given that Kanye West recently delivered a pro-Trump rant at the San Jose stop of his Saint Pablo Tour, it's easy to jump to conclusions here, and presume that West is getting some face time with the President-elect.

But if you take a step back, you might conclude that Kanye could rightfully be visiting any number of other businesses housed in the 58-story skyscraper.

However coincidental, it's dubious that Trump would even have time in his schedule to pencil in a meeting with West, especially given how the billionaire has dismissed hip-hop figures like Jay Z and Beyoncé in the past. Surely Trump has more important things to do.

While entering the building surrounded by an entourage of suits, West refused to make any comments to reporters. Stay posted for more information.
