
































In paying homage to the achievements of black athletes from around the world, Nike unveils its 2016 Black History Month collection. This year, the capsules features 28 products, spanning across the categories of tennis, basketball, football, running, NIKEiD and Jordan Brand.
First up is the Swoosh's basketball delivery, which features the LeBron 13, KD8, Kyrie 2 and Kobe 11 Elite. These signature styles for LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and Kobe Bryant will be offered in both adult and youth sizes, while a portion of the proceeds will be awarded to Nike’s Ever Higher Fund, which was created to bring mentorship, sport and all of its benefits to African American youth.
In addition to the basketball signatures, also showcased in this year's BHM collection are a commemorative Air Force 1, Air Footscape Magista, Roshe One, NikeCourt Flare footwear from Tennis, Streak LT 3 footwear from Running, and the Air Jordan 1 Nouveau and AJ1 High for girls from Jordan Brand. A BHM-themed Magista Obra FG boot and Jordan Spike 40 will then be arriving in February.
In regards to apparel, matching tees, hoodies and shorts will also be releasing.
Look for Nike's initial 2016 Black History Month delivery to arrive on January 18 at select retailers and online.
