Brand: Nike

Model: Air Force 1 Hi “Just Don” & Air Force 1 Low “Roc-a-Fella”

Key Features: The 2017 “Roc-a-Fella” Air Force 1 pays homage to the iconic record label, as well as the Air Force 1’s deep roots in New York City. The new edition honors the original design and features embroidered logos on the tongue and heel.

Don C added details from the lesser known Air Force 2 and Air Force 3 silhouettes, resulting in a luxe high-top execution. The medial side of the shoe reflects the Air Force 2, while the look of the heel takes inspiration from the Air Force 3. As with the luxe detailing of Don’s “Just Don” brand, the collaborative Air Force 1 comes with mixed leathers and gold accents.

Release Date: Air Force 1 Low “Roc-a-Fella” November 30, Air Force 1 Hi “Just Don” December 1.

Price: Air Force 1 Low: €175 (approx. $208) and Air Force 1 Hi: €199 (approx. $237).

Editor’s Notes: To celebrate 35 years of the Air Force 1 silhouette, Nike tasked five icons in their respective fields with offering their take on Nike’s iconic Air Force 1. There was just one stipulation: it had to be all white. The chosen five are Don “Don C” Crawley, Virgil Abloh, Travis Scott, Kareem “Biggs” Burke, and ACRONYM’s Errolson Hugh.

It seems as though Nike’s collaborative AF-100 project has gone under the radar somewhat with the pack’s release fast approaching. Each iteration of the iconic Air Force 1 will release separately on consecutive days with Kareem “Biggs” Burke’s Air Force 1 Low “Roc-a-Fella” kicking things off on November 30.

Thanks to the guys over at BSTN we’ve now got a detailed look at two of the five Air Force 1 iterations releasing next week. Check out the detailed shots above and let us know if you’ll be trying to cop.
