Editor’s Notes: After weeks of teasers and rumors, Nike has officially released images and details regarding its Air Force 1 “PlayStation ’18 QS” kicks.

The inspiration for the shoe goes back to Nike’s 2006 collaboration with PlayStation. But this PS4-inspired update switches the glossy patent leather from the toebox, eyestay, and midfoot paneling to the heel, with matte premium leather making up the front part of the upper. Black laces replace the red and purple fastening system.

Updates such as PlayStation control symbols embedded in the upper heel, sole, and Swoosh are balanced by a white midsole that contrasts with the black upper.

As with other recent high-profile collaborations, Nike dropped the limited edition kicks via the Stash feature on its SNKRS app. A lucky few attendees were given the chance to cop the coveted kicks via SNKRS Stash at this year’s E3 gaming expo in Los Angeles.

While details of a wider rollout have yet to be confirmed, we suggest keeping an eye on your SNKRS app to see if you’ll get the chance to cop. And of course, check back here for further updates.
