There's few more classic sights in footwear than a box white pair of Nike Air Force 1s. But the difficulty with nailing something so perfectly the first time round is that variants might not live up to the bench mark, yet that itching urge to freshen things up remains. But Nike seemed to have nailed it again by adding some minimalist detailing to the classic silhouette.

Sticking to the monochrome color palette, the sneaker features subtle black accents on the sole, while a mixture of smooth and pebbled leathers on the upper give it a slightly more premium feel. Black stars appear on the tongue tab as well, just to set you apart from the rest of the Air Force-wearing crowd that little bit more.

The updated AF1 is available now and retails at $130 – but be quick, we can't imagine they'll be around for long.
